Chocolate Chess Pie
Chess pie is a traditional Southern pie, often made with sour ingredients such as buttermilk or vinegar. Our chocolate chess pie is a sweeter take on the original, we sometimes call this our "brownie pie"! When the pie bakes, it puffs up almost like a soufflé, and then as it cools ... it falls, creating a crinkly, crunchy top layer which we dust with powdered sugar.
Delicious topped with fresh whipped cream or ice cream - a chocolate lover's delight!
