This delicious and generous rosato is produced from the red Canaiolo grape. The free-run must ferments slowly in steel vats. The wine is bottled on the lees at the end of fermentation to preserve its freshness.

Tasting Notes: Elisabetta (the winemaker) refers to this wine as the "champagne" of Montenidoli. It is the perfect wine to drink at any joyful moment of the day! It is a delicately colored, pale pink rosato with floral aromas. The nose shows notes of raspberry, yellow apple, citrus, and orange blossom. It has aromas of white grapes with the richness of red grapes. It’s juicy with bright acidity and flavors of violet and fresh herbs. The Montenidoli Canaiolo Rosato finishes slightly tart and a bit youthfully clenched but with good length. The finish is long, saline and mineral. It pairs well with lobster and shellfish.
